Intel releases its first graphics card driver compatible with Win11

Microsoft’s Win11 preview version has been officially launched. Although Win11 is compatible with Win10 drivers, most third-party graphics card and hardware manufacturers currently have not adopted the new system. According to news, Intel released a graphics card driver specifically adapted to Windows 11 before Nvidia and AMD on July 14th. The version number is 30.0.100.9684.

The official website shows that this driver supports the core graphics cards of Intel 6-11 generation processors, and is also compatible with the latest Xe and  Elkhart Lake series of low-power processors. The Win11 system puts forward new requirements for the graphics card driver, which must support WDDM 3.0 and DirectX 12 Shader Model 6.6 shaders.

In addition to adapting to Win11, this version of the driver has added support for “F1 2021”; optimized for “Moonlight Blade” and “Call of Duty: War Zone”. In addition, it also supports the automatic HDR function of Windows 11. This feature requires Intel 10th generation or above processor core display to be able to support.
