Microsoft may borrow Apple’s Magic Keyboard design in their next Surface Book, which is implied by a new patent discovered a few weeks ago.
The patent was filed on January 17, 2020, and published on July 22, 2021. It shows a design that can be converted from a normal flip design to a floating screen like Magic Keyboard, which is similar to Apple’s Keyboard+ iPad combination has a lot of similarities.
According to Windows Central reports, Microsoft is developing a new Surface Book with a “non-removable display” of about 14 inches.
As per further reports, the device will use a more powerful processor and graphics card, upgrade the screen, and may be equipped with a larger trackpad and a new Surface Pen, and improve tactile feedback.
The device may use the name Surface Book Pro or Surface Book Studio and would use Windows 11. If this is true, the new machine should be on shelves sometime this fall.
