17-year old launches Mental Wellness app targeted at teenagers

New Delhi- India: SifatSayal, a 17-year-old student of Modern School, Vasant Vihar, has launched TeensTogethr, a mental wellness app curated and created for the teenagers of today. The app is available on the Google Play Store as well as Apple App Store.

Sifat Sayal said “I have been very concerned and affected by the mental challenges my friends and teenagers around me face. Right guidance & counseling during these formative years is instrumental to our future success and personality development,” said Sifat, explaining the motivation behind creating the app. She hopes that widespread use of the app will help teenagers effectively handle trauma caused by the pandemic.

Sifat’s contribution to tackling the teen mental health crisis through TeensTogether has been recognized by The Pramerica Spirit Of Community Awards, which salutes the efforts of those working towards the betterment of their community. Sifat has been awarded a bronze medallion for her efforts.

The potential of the TeenTogethr app has also been recognized in the investor community. Sifat comes from a business background and is eager to follow the entrepreneurial drive needed to grow this startup and realize its potential fully. She has been able to secure initial funding for product development as well as an LOI from a leading global fund. She plans to start intensive development and marketing of the app in the coming months.
