Nikon launches two Z-mount macro lenses

Nikon launched the Z-mount macro lenses NIKKOR Z Macro 50mm f/2.8  and NIKKOR Z Macro 105mm f/2.8 VR S, they have the largest F2.8 aperture, 1:1 magnification, and announced the development of the Two fixed-focus lenses, the Z 28mm f/2.8 and the NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2.

The NIKKOR Z Macro 105mm f/2.8 VR S consists of 16 elements in 11 groups, including 3 low-dispersion ED lenses and 1 aspherical lens. The lenses adapt nano-coating and anti-reflective HD ARNEO coating. The front lens uses a Fluorine coating. According to Nikon’s official statement, three ED lenses can effectively eliminate axial chromatic aberration in the entire focus range, avoid onion ring blur, provide a soft blur effect and reduce bleeding or fringing. The large-diameter aspheric lens can suppress the curvature of the field and ensure a clear edge of the picture. In order to improve the shooting success rate, the lens is equipped with an anti-shake system, using a voice coil motor (VCM) to drive the lens displacement, which can provide up to 4.5 levels of anti-shake effect, and at the same time can use the body’s five-axis anti-shake to improve the anti-shake performance.

NIKKOR Z Macro 105mm f/2.8 VR S is approximately 85mm (maximum diameter) x 140mm, compatible with 62mm threaded filters, and weighs approximately 630g.

The NIKKOR Z Macro 50mm f/2.8 consists of 10 lenses in 7 groups, including 1 low-dispersion ED lens, 1 aspherical lens with a fluorine coating on the front lens; 9 diaphragm blade design, a maximum aperture of F2. 8. The minimum aperture is F22; there is a stepping motor inside, the closest focusing distance is 0.29 meters, and the magnification ratio reaches 1:1, but the maximum aperture will drop by F5.6 at this time.

In order to achieve miniaturization, the lens adopts an outer focus design, that is, in the macrostate, the inner lens will extend forward, and a standard model HN-41 mini hood is equipped with a 46mm threaded interface. NIKKOR Z Macro 50mm f/2.8 size is about 74.5mm (maximum diameter) x 66mm, weighs 260g, lens barrel with AF/MF switch and focus limiter, with dust and water drop function
